D-Day

Normandy – France. June 2019. On June 6, 1944 the Allied landed on the beaches of Normandy as part of Operation Overlord. Code name Operation Neptune also called D-Day. The operation began the liberation of German-occupied France and later western Europe. Since 75 years to commemorate the landing of the Allied in Normandy, thousands of history buffs come from all over the world in Normandy to pay tribute to these heroes of the World War II.
